Bonded Polymer Pipette Tip Validation

A significant culprit of pipette inaccuracy is binding of sample. The Sorenson BioScience Bonded Polymer Tip reduces binding, thus increasing sample delivery accuracy. This study compares our low binding tips to conventional and low retention tips.

Filtered Pipette Tip Radioactive Aerosol Blocking

This is an evaluation of the effectiveness of Sorenson BioScience Filtered Pipette Tips at blocking radioactive aerosols. Techniques involving radioactive isotope are particularly sensitive to aerosol contamination. Tests were performed in an independent laboratory to show that radioactive aerosols do not penetrate beyond the filter to contaminate the shaft of the pipettor.

Fitlered Pipette Tip DNA and PCR Aerosol Blocking

This is an evaluation of the effectiveness of Sorenson BioScience Filtered Pipette Tips at blocking aerosols that carry PCR amplicon and DNA. Techniques involving PCR are particularly sensitive to aerosol contamination. Tests were performed in an independent laboratory using an Anthrax DNA assay and R.A.P.I.D. real time PCR aparatus from Idaho Technology to show that aerosols do not penetrate beyond the filter to contaminate the shaft of the pipettor.
